Representatives of Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina held trainings for market inspectors from the BiH entities and Brčko District of BiH with the aim of preparing for implementation of market surveillance in accordance with the Annual market surveillance plan for 2022. The trainings were held from 17th May to 1st June 2022 in Brčko, Banjaluka and Istočno Sarajevo.
The trainings covered market surveillance of the
following product groups: bicycles for adults and young adults, barbecues
burning solid fuels, hand-held electric drills, hand-held electric chainsaws,
children's bicycles, skateboards, toy guns with bullets, children's pools, extension
cords, electric deep fryers, hair dryers, electric water kettles and hair
clippers.
As part of the training, representatives of the MSA
presented the legal basis for implementation of market surveillance, basic
information on product groups, explained the administrative and visual checks
in accordance with the safety requirements from the applicable regulations and
BAS standards, risk assessment and taking measures for the above-mentioned
product groups. The details that inspectors should pay attention to during
inspection and product sampling were highlighted.
The
inspectors evaluated the trainings as useful and practical.
