The Agency has been participating in the work of several AdCo groups as an observer for many years, thus confirming its continuous involvement in European cooperation mechanisms in the field of market surveillance.

During the two-day meeting, the participants discussed topics of importance for the improvement of cooperation between competent authorities, coordination of activities, implementation of the relevant regulatory framework, as well as challenges related to the digital market, online sales and import of products through e-commerce.

A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to the initiative "Single Market Academy - Bridging Western Balkans and EU Single Market through Quality Infrastructure", launched by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), based on years of cooperation with the quality infrastructure institutions of the Western Balkan countries.

In his introductory speech, the Director of the Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Pejo Đurašinović, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation, exchange of experiences and joint action in the area of product safety and consumer protection.

Hosting the meeting in Sarajevo represents a significant contribution to strengthening international cooperation and additionally confirms the Agency's commitment to improving the market surveillance system in accordance with European standards.
