The 59th meeting of the EMC AdCo group (Administrative Cooperation Group for Electromagnetic Compatibility) was held in Sarajevo on 28th-29th April 2026. The meeting was attended by representatives of the competent institutions of the EU member states and the European Commission, as well as the representatives of the Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A representative of Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the meeting of PED AdCo group (the Group for administrative cooperation of the EU market surveillance authorities in the field of pressure equipment), held on 28th April 2026 in Krakow, Poland.
56th meeting of the LVD AdCo group (the Group for administrative cooperation of the EU market surveillance authorities in the field of low-voltage equipment) was held on 21st April 2026 in Krakow. A representative of Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the meeting.
Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and market inspections of the BiH entities and Brčko District of BiH have carried out proactive market surveillance of lighting chains (decorative Christmas lights). Proactive market surveillance was based on controlling the safety characteristics of the products with the aim of increasing the level of consumer safety.
During the period from September 2025 to March 2026, Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and market inspections of the BiH entities and Brčko District of BiH have carried out joint market surveillance of children's pushchairs (for children weighing up to 22 kg).
A representative of the Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the 33rd meeting of the European Union Product Compliance Network (EUPCN) in Brussels, held on 3rd March 2026.
Joint regional action of surveillance of electrical products has been implemented during 2025. The action was organized with the support of GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH). This is the third joint action in a row were the participants and bearers of surveillance activities were market surveillance institutions from all CEFTA member states.
