PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT ON VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL AND RECALL OF “ELRO BBD 220” FIRE BLANKET



After finding out about the announcement on voluntary withdrawal and recall of Elro BBD 220 fire blankets, manufactured by Roos Electronic Ltd, Netherlands, Market Surveillance Agency of BiH contacted the authorized importer and distributor BAU & GARTEN d.o.o. from Sarajevo. The importer has taken voluntary measures of withdrawal, recall and destruction of the affected products, and issued a safety announcement to consumers in the media. According to the manufacturer, the product poses a risk of burns and fire because during its use it may catch fire, burning the user or setting fire to the surroundings.

The importer urged consumers to return the affected products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
