PED AdCo group meeting held

A representative of Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the meeting of the Pressure Equipment Administrative Cooperation Group (PED AdCo), held on the 21st of May 2025 in Tallinn, Estonia. 

After the opening speech, the adoption of the agenda and the minutes from the previous meeting, the market surveillance system of Estonia (as the host country) was presented. After that, administrative matters related to the work of the group were discussed and reports were submitted from several working group meetings attended by the Chair and Vice-Chair of the PED AdCo group.

The meeting continued with a discussion on specific issues arising from market surveillance activities involving pressure equipment and simple pressure vessels. Particular attention was given to specific market surveillance cases involving these products, the challenges faced by representatives of certain countries, as well as the products that have caused incidents.

At the end of the meeting, the Chair of the PED AdCo group thanked all the participants for their active engagement, and a tentative date was set for the next meeting.

The meeting was evaluated as very informative and valuable in terms of experience sharing and acquiring knowledge in the field of market surveillance of pressure equipment.

The meeting was attended by 30 participants from 23 countries.
