A representative of Market Surveillance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the 25th meeting of the European Union Product Compliance Network (EUPCN)

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the EU member states, representatives of the Liaison Offices and national experts, AdCo groups' chairs, representatives of the European Commission, as well as the representatives of the EU membership candidate countries.
During the meeting, various issues dealt with by the inspection authorities in the EU member states were discussed, as well as the other aspects of product compliance. The progress in adoption of the documents from the area of market surveillance, as well as the documents for the EUPCN work program for the following period were presented. The representatives of the European Commission particularly emphasized that each member state must have at least one competent authority at the national level, which covers every regulation in market surveillance. One of the topics was implementation of the ban on the marketing of products made with any form of forced labour. The participants were informed about the improvement and development of a new database for non-compliant products found on the EU market during joint surveillance actions.
The meeting was evaluated as very substantive and useful from the aspect of exchanging experiences and acquiring new knowledge in market surveillance, as well as the aspects of product compliance.
