The lighting chain poses a risk of electric shock and fire due to the following non-compliances:

-        the length of the supply cable between the plug and the first lamp (bulb) is less than the permitted minimum,

-        the product has insulation of an unauthorized class,

-        the required warnings are missing,

-        the product is not properly marked. 

The product does not comply with the Order on electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits and the standard BAS EN 60598-2-20.

Measures taken

Competent inspection authority ordered the measures of withdrawal from the market and destruction of the products.
