Joint market surveillance actions in South Eastern Europe

Final conference under the project of Joint Market Surveillance Actions was held on 24th and 25th June 2014, in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia). This conference was a closing event of the nine-month activities under the regional project focused on joint selection, sampling, testing, and risk assessment of products, conducted by market surveillance authorities of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. These activities are part of the ongoing “Regional Market Surveillance Project”, which has been implemented under the Open Regional Funds for SEE Foreign Trade Promotion. The project has been implemented by GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation), and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. * This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
