Project focused on surveillance of baby walkers completed

Market Surveillance Agency of B&H and market inspections of B&H entities and Brčko District of B&H implemented a joint surveillance project focused on baby walkers during the period from June to October 2014. The main objective of the project was to determine whether the situation regarding the safety of baby walkers in Bosnia and Herzegovina improved, compared to the results of the surveillance project implemented two years ago. Baby walkers are considered to be safe if they meet the requirements specified by the Law on General Product Safety (“Official Gazette of B&H” No. 102/09) and the relevant standard BAS EN 1273:2010.
