Project focused on surveillance of products for hygiene, personal care and beautification completed

Market Surveillance Agency of B&H and competent health and sanitary inspections of B&H entities and Brčko District of B&H implemented for the first time a joint surveillance project focused on products for hygiene, personal care and beautification. The aim of the project was to determine the level of heavy metals - lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) in products for beautification and lip colours (lipsticks and lip glosses), as well as microbiological safety of products for washing and cleansing of face and body (children’s shampoos and/or baths).
